My taste changed a LOT.
New List -
"Kashmir", "Stairway to Heaven", "Rain Song" - Led Zeppelin
"Within You Without You", "A Day in the Life", "Hey Jude", "Imagine", "Let it Be" - The Beatles (there are just too many)
"Magic and Loss"- Lou Reed (just one of my fave's but he has a lot of amazing songs)
War Pigs - Black Sabbath
"My Generation" - The Who - has a lot of meaning within the context of the time it was released and all that was going on in society..
Pretty much anything from Dylan.. "Like a Rolling Stone" , "Blowin' in the Wind"..
"Paranoid Android" - Radiohead.. that whole album is great
"I Walk the Line" - Johnny Cash
"Heroes" - David Bowie
"White Room" - Cream
Jeez.. I could list a lot of songs I find really deep.. so I am going to stop here.
