Actually, I wouldnt really call it a 'typical bollywood film'. Sure they fall in love in the end and all... I'de just say that Bollywood is starting to go along with the Pakistani womans magazine stories. They always have the happy go lucky guy with a serious girl or vice versa. And also the fact that the story remained consistant. It started with him telling a story and ended that way. Another thing is how it spans over a couple of years, so there 'love' wasn't really love at first sight how most indian films actually are.

Don't get me wrong, I usually watch Indian movies to laugh at, but the thing is Hum Tum was slightly different. And unlike some other movies REMAINED CONSTANT... Let me compare to Kal ho naa ho, that movie starts with someone just telling a story and ends years later with her telling her sister the story. The point of the stupid intervals where people said what they though love was or when the last time she laughed was pointless.....

Therefore, Hum Tum was not really a typical Bollywood film. It had some good aspects to it... I just wont get into the bad since I personally like it lol.
