that is amongst the most stupid new itemz ever. Pandits are Hindu refugees from Kashmir. They are boycotting the polls as a (silly) mark of protest because no party is paying attention to their plight (quite typical in "secular" India for Hindu victims of violence to get brushed under the carpet in public discourse). No Pandits want Kashmir to be separate from India, they see that as the worse thing that could happen.

That is a retard news story from a Pakistani news provider that haven't done their homework...
