oh and often a week???

the most for me was an hour and a half ...yesterday....but ive been doing an hour for a while....im trying to hit two hours...and thats five days a week for me
when i first started going back in september....i wouldnt workout more than 30-40 mins two days a week...

for some reason this past 2 week i gotton lazy n cut down on the gym n started to eat more :(

not its like 2wice a week 2 hrs each

b4 it was 4 days min a week 2 n half hrs

45 mins on only cardio days, on training days 1 hr weights and 15 mins cardio

I dont go to the gym. When I work out I do it at home these days, just 30 minutes of combined cardio and muscletoning rolled into one workout. I try to do it 5 times a week but the usual average is 1 or 2 times a week these days.

wtf man u for real? i thought i was in a bad physical shape for body building. i was like 125-126 and i read that to get big u must bulk up and eat so i did that for 1 1/2 yr till i was like 171. then i realized that im fat and now i need to cut up. now im cutting up for the last 5 months, lost 22 lbs but still no rips. im worried that i might be losing fat instead of muscle. i monitor my diet closely and make sure i get like 150-170 gm of protein and do heavy weights 4 times a week and cardio for 15 mins on training days and 45 mins on non-training. but still it seems i see no results.

how long did it take u to get from 390 to 165???

i proved that anything is possible with time, patience and dedication....the skinnier you are, the easier it gets...you take any supplements? you must eat, but eat clean...it took me about 7-8 years to get from 390-165.....

u sure did man.. i take 2 servings of pro-rated whey each day (gives me 22 gm protein with each serving). i take one serving after workout and one serving before going to bed.

did you have a drink for me? i'm going to the gym tonight...there's some boxer dude that's coming to my gym for the next few months to teach one on one boxing and, if there's a big enough demand for him, he will be there forever. i made an appointment with him today to take out some anger...but i had to get rid of the french tip :(

corwn and coke is the official desi drink in canada...don't know about the states. seriously, if you're desi and at a club, you order crown unless you wanna get beat down...guys should just be baptized with it.

Weights - 5 days a week, 60-70 minutes if I'm doing cardio after, 90 minutes if I'm not doing cardio after.

Cardio - 3-4 times a week after weights, for 30-45 minutes, low to moderate intensity.

You should do the cardio after weights

Do a 5 min warm up on something like a cross trainer or bike then stretch then do your weights then cardio then warm down and stretch, then go eat a burger :P

I second that. If you start off with your cardio you'll likely be just burning your glycogen more than fat, whereas after weights your glycogen is depleted (if you worked hard), so you'll tap into fat stores quicker. The best time to do it is actually first thing in the morning before breakfast, when you glycogen is usually the lowest.

Not really a longtime, thats the traditional way that body builders workout.

Leg press or squats, leg extentions and leg curls, standing calf raise, leg raise, doing 5 sets (1 warm up and 1 warm down) of all that including the break lenghs can add upto over an hour

Its an hour an 15 for 2 body parts.. and its not a long time.. foh sure.. I do five exercises, for each part and 3 harsh sets and the last one.. as a cool down. that gives the shape.. and by no means. m a big guy.. seen guys in Lifetime gym.. they are huge specially the black people.. they get muscles so easily... its the genes.. man..

What are your goals exactly? Do you want to be the size of that Big bobs guy or do you want to just look lean and cut, I personally would prefer definition than mass...

First you need to decide what your exact goal is then we can help you with your diet, your excersises and what supplements you should take.

Thats good to know. I just wanted to get an idea of what the optimum and also the minimum amount of intense cardio should be, on a permanent basis. So this is info I have heard in a number of places. Diabetics even are told, in fact prescribed 30 minutes of cardio minimum, five times a week so this must be a very healthy and beneficial amount of cardio for everyone.

one cud wear lips stick and stuff coz she might think she looks ugly without it and believe me so many girls think that. personally i wear no makeup to the guy, and i wear loose baggy gym pants that look good but they dont make my ass look any bigger or nicer than it is and any guy who does check me out like that is a player in my eye. i just hate it when they do that and just that much observation is enough for me to tell myself to stay away from him. i know many people might think its all cool and wutever but personally i dont and we all have our personal opinions. and as for the model being with the 5" fat guy, there ARE girls who can stoop low like that but just like that there are girls who have morals who wont let money and just a looker decidee their life for them.

what if he plays hard to get with most girls then what? and why is that women wear makeup, lips stick, and wear tight clothes at the gym? do they just want attention?.....its human nature for some guys to check out a girl's a*s*s.. women do it also....if a guy or a girl is checking the opposite sex out, that does not make make him/her a player. as far as i know a guy player sleep with multiple women at the same time. my sister in law checks out other guys, she is not a playette, my brother does the same vice versa.....what i meant by money is that a guy has a good stable career and makes more money then then national average which puts him at a middle-upper class social status....but there are plenty of gold diggers. i've seen a 5'0 fat guy with almost no teeth with a model....whats up with that....there was an article published on Askmen.com, and it stated that guy has to be have 3 things to be successful with women. 1. Tall. 2. Money 3. Education......

Ok how does a guy who has a habit of staring make him a player. To me a player would be someone who knows the game right? If you know the game u are not going to blunder right in the beginning by giving your intentions away. If you are a player you are gunna play the game of deception and pretend NOT to look at the booty, even though you wanna take the pants off of it. :?

why would someone want to wear lipstick to impress anyone in the gym?. did u pay ur membership to impress the guys or workout? thats like inferiority complex. if you think any guy checks you is a player then u have lot of research to do. so does that mean my sister in law and brother who are married players? if they just are checking out then perhaps you should be a little flattered.....his game hasnt even been started so he can't be considered a player....

older guys have more control, since we are going downhill from age 18.

Lot of women are from 18-30 in the gym and 30 is their peak. women are just better at hiding. I have caught plenty of women checking me out when i am not looking

I dont think 30 is their peak. I think thats a myth. The real peak is 15. 30 is just when they get really gutsy again after a period of reservedness and shyness in their twenties and late teens.
