hmmm....i can see where u r coming from, but I've never made a thread expressing joy at Pakistan's problemz like this dude has...

i'm not referring to this thread in particular, but to the several other Ali G specialz littered around the front page that r there 4 u to look at. looking at those threadz u could logically surmise that Ali G gets a lot of happiness from India's problemz...

u're talking abt poor ppl here who dont get a single square meal a day. u'd knw if u were in their position. sitting here in the US, enjoying multiple benifits, u wudnt have an idea.

Ever been to a Black Friday sale - walmart, staples.. its no better, and we're talking abt 'civisilied middle class' americans there.

when you're dirt poor, there is no issue of greed.

i would have to say i agree ONE HUNDRED PERCENT.

Too many times i have seen people living in the lap of luxury, whos only worries are about what car to get or what clothes to wear discuss issues that deal with people that live in abject poverty. i feel that it is unfair for us to call them greedy. Because if they are greedy for trying to get some clothes when they only have maybe 1-5 pairs, if that. then HOW MUCH MORE GREEDY ARE WE? we have tons and tons of clothes, but we got and buy new ones (not because we need them, but because the old ones are out of style) and how about cars, how many of us buy bigger and better cars, not because we need it but because we are greedy and because we want it to be faster and cooler. and how many of us waste food because we dont feel like eating it at that particular time, or because we are not in the mood for it? while billions starve.

i feel that it is quite stupid, not to mention hypocritical, to call some poverty stricken people greedy when those of us that live in the lap of luxury are the GREEDIEST OF THEM ALL.

Oh yeah i am including myself(in case some of u didnt get that)
