How many of u Londoners or just people living in england have been there? what do u think of it and doesnt it have a bad rep? i went there and ill have to say its just like india...doesnt feel like im in england when ur on the broadway...it really isnt THAT bad as everyone told me it would be...just kinda dirty

Southaaallllllll..ma god..i got a few friends around living there..going there is sometimes a nightmare..guys wont leave you alone..and plus its dirty..*shrugs* but overall its good and yeah it does feel like your back home *sighs*

lived there for over a year, it has its highs n lows... well its famous for its desi food n shoppin stuff but omg if u gotta live there... the traffic will kill ya!!! its like jamm 24/7. being in london, therez no tube station linkin southall to the city, trains runs few times every hr, ealing counsil is one of the worst performin in country.... n u don't wanna goto the library, they literary have 2 computers :P i can go on for hrs.... but at the end of the day it is the pure desi mahool most of us r lookin for, so its all gud :)

must b lucky mate, when ur goin to work at 8 in da mornin n the tarinz takin da piss( compared to tube which come every 2-3min) is pretty late, not alwayz but mostly they get delayed, so if u no the trains comin at hafl past n planned yr journey... u can never b sure....n if u take yr car.... the tarffic jamz will kill u. its a mission gettin out of southall :P
well its just when ur in a rush or gotta b somewhere on time, other timez its cool

Southalls a wiked place, got loads of friends from there. theres so many good things about southall, pleanty of girls, loads of modded Golf GTIs :cool: , ritas is a good (tip to all ppl go to the massive ritas near the mosque in old southall, the sweet shops, chandni chowk if u go here make sure u try the lamb chops they r the best ive ever tasted comin from a restaurant, has the biggest Gurudwara in Europe (havelock road1), ppl r safe there (one aunti tried to give me a lift home :confused: ) , the melas usually kik ass its just a good place to b.

btw i live near southall, in hayes (4yrs) but i also live up north so i kno quite alot about southall.

Southall as good as any other place, people are decent. Remember it's not the bad rep for those who live in Southall but it's those who come into Southall. We get the bad name bcos other people from other area come in act like freshieZZZZ

I was in London a few days ago on vacation, and our hotel (Renaissance Heathrow) wasn't too far from the Southall area so we decided to check it out. It's actually a good place to eat I suppose, I went to this one restaurant called "Lahori Karahi" and although the service was kinda slow, the food was really good...there are a lot of thugs out there, but a lot of the desi girls are good looking.

iv never been to havelock road gurdwara..only time i see it is wen im on the train, southalls ok id say..it aint the best place out there and it aint the worst..

I love london! Besides the crappy weather I like it much better than the states to be honest...there's just a lot more diversity there, and a lot more desis.
