Dragonball Evolution

So, I just watched the movie, Dragonball Evolution. I was a big fan of the Dragonball series growing up so I was looking forward to this movie, even though I knew it was a flop. My thoughts, lol it was so awful it was funny. Anyone else see the movie?

I don't think there's a single redeeming aspect of this movie. I mean obviously the plot and screenplay were the weakest points, but the direction, acting, special effects were all pretty awful too. Then again a Dragonball movie shouldn't be done unless you have a budget of like $200 million or so, or if it's an animated movie. No other way to really get the great special effects needed for the fight scenes aside from spending tons of money.

lol, I watched it on DVD. It's been out for a while. I just knew it was a waste of money spending it on going to a theatre.

Well that's one reason but it's one of the lamest ones. No one really cares what race people are, as long as they can act. Unfortunately no one really knew how to act in the movie...

Hah, I actually thought the makeup for Piccolo was decent. Sure in the comics and tv show, he looked different, but they were trying to present a more menacing version. I'm just sad they left out Krillin :(

werd! I couldn't even bother watching it. There were two things that were a kick in the nuts to me right from the start!

1. Goku is white. WTF! And its not even like a white guy that looks anything like Goku!

2. Question: Who ..the..fuck..is...MAI!?!?!?! /rage
Answer: Some random bitch who's main job is to blow the director when she's not in a scene.

they should totally try and do DB/DBZ justive (not DBGT cuz it sucked), They should def have a movie which has Vegeta and Broly in it too, because you know in the end Saiyans are all that matters ^^ Effects, Story (which is dbz is never TOO complicated), maybe a nice soundtrack would be sick...but this is just a dream.
