Aollywood, Collywood, Eollywood, Follywood, Gollywood
Iollywood, Jollywood, Kollywood, Mollywood, Nollywood, Oollywood (or just Ollywood), Pollywood, Qollywood, Rollywood, SollyWood, Uollywood, Vollywood, WollyWood, Xollywood, Yollywood, Zollywood
Well, that's all the choices that are left so far. Anyone wanna start one of these movie industries?
Heha ... Man, to tell you the truth us desis should just make do with all the '- ollywoods' we already got now otherwise we ain't gonna' be taken seriously :)
If another new 'ollywood' industry emerges it would just be plain hilarious .... (Which one of these do you think it would be though if it did?).
Peace, Respekt, Keep It Real
- Raj
P.S. Maybe though, other countries might start adopting '- ollywood' names too, who knows - in which case the above 'ollywoods' may be possible, but not likely me thinks  ...

OK, SO THE LATEST UPDATE:
The only choices left now are:
1.) Aollywood
2.) Eollywood
3.) Iollywood
4.) Oollywood (or just Ollywood)
5.) Uollywood
6.) Qollywood
7.) Xollywood
8.) Yollywood
Ok, so only 8 left.
The way thing's are going I wouldn't be surprised if these'll exist sometime in the near future too - yeah they sound crap --- but man you've gotta' admit --- desis have gotten a bit carried away with this
'- Ollywood' stuff haven't they?

Hmm ... interesting ... 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 8 all have vowels as the starting letter!
So theres:
6 beginning with vowels (i'll take 'y' to be a vowel too)
2 beginning with consonants
(Looks like desis don't like vowels or somethin' )
Certainly looks like there's some discrimination between the vowels and consonants in the desi world anyway [ JK  ]... )
The funny thing is though, in this selection only X and Y actually go well with '-Ollywood' - the vowels (other than 'y') don't. And the consonant Q doesn't match well either.
My prediction: Xollywood and Yollywood will be the next 2 - KNOWN -movie industries sometime in the future. There'll be no more '-Ollywoods'
after that I reckon (and hope!).
Someone has registered Xollywood.com and Yollywood.com already. It'll be interesting to see what happens.
At the moment, yollywood.com seems to be a match-making site for oriental asians.
Respekt ...

Sorry to hear about your birds Mr.Cheese ...
I -- used -- to have a budgie a couple a' years back.
It was actually SUPPOSED to be my sister's.
You see, at the time, my younger sister pestered my parents to buy her one -- I was about 14 at the time. I remember trying to tell her NOT to get one --- afterall it is quite a lot of responsibility looking after another living being and you've got to devote a lot of time and love to such a thing :)
I knew that she wouldn't take care of it after a while and was kinda right -- After about a week I ended up taking most of the responsibility & pretty much became the pet owner instead!
Yeah, I used to do a lot of 'seva' for that l'il bird, and got very attached to it. We taught him a few tricks here and there and a couple of words too.
Unfortunately, when we moved to Canada (From England, UK) in '99 we had to let a friend -- temporarily -- look after it for a while, reason being we weren't too sure at the time if we'd be staying in Canada for good.
Yeah, we missed him a lot -- always felt like somethin' was missing, still kinda' does in a way ...
The sad thing is, around 2001 we received a phone call (On Christmas Eve!) from the lady (who was lookin' after him in uk) and she told us that our l'il budgie had -- died --. How it happened exactly, I don't really know, and we thought he was in good hands. And I mean, on Christmas Eve of all days :( . (Yeah, that was a bit of a miserable Christmas ...)
Obviously we were pretty upset  -- afterall we'd gotten pretty attached to it.
But that's life I guess --- here one minute, gone the next ...
(... R.I.P. Benny ...)

well why didn't u ask for the bird back after a year?
Morpheus

To tell you the truth, money was pretty tight back then and I didn't intend to stay here permanently in the beginning.
There would have been a $500 fee to bring our pet over here, and then there would have been flight charges etc. to go and get him.
We also weren't quite sure if the l'il bird would be able to survive the flight conditions for 8 hours (they have like some separate part of the plane for pets --- I think they pretty much jam-pack the pet cages in there!). I have no idea how well they treat pets on the flight -- would have been a bit risky :?
Then there's quarantine rules etc.
The other thing is, the friend we temporarily gave it to had already had budgies as pets before so we thought the bird would be in good hands ...
(Of course, we didn't consider the fact that HER budgies had died in her care too!).
But anyway, that's in the past -- I guess there's no point dwelling on the past eh :)
