A battle league here in Canada, similar to the No Flop league started by Eurgh. They allow the MC's to choose the amount of money to put up. I'll let you decide the wager, but at least make it worthwhile.

Your lyrics were actually decent, rhyming schemes were okay, your best line was "hate on the Pak gang / same colour as Pacman" scheme. Overall, you're not bad.

good on ya rajeev for doing something ur passionate about... criticism can be taken in a good way and it can only help you get better.. every1 starts out small

However, y do so many rappers yap about fake shit, about their egotistical selves, and how hard they think they are. That's no different than singing stupid shit like "Superman" by Lil Wayne or about how much bling you have.

Granted that many rappers came out the gutter and they had nothing so they rap about things they now have; but then they loose the essence of what rapping is about. Damn studio gangsters.

Okay, I'm going to clear some things up for some people here who clearly have things a little twisted.

For starters, this performance was at my medical school for the Indian student's association, so the subject matter was specifically geared towards a pure Desi crowd that spends 90% of their time studying medicine. Furthermore, I couldn't rap about the subject matter I usually cover because it would not translate over to the type of audience present in the crowd. If it were my fellow students alone, it would be a different story, but my school's dean, assistant deans, and professors were also in attendance; any experienced performer will know that you must cater your performance to the people in the crowd.

I've been fortunate and blessed to have shared the stage with the best in Canadian hip hop, including Kardinal Offishall, the Rascalz, IRS, Checkmate, Concise, Shad K, Rikoshay, and many more. Further, I've opened for Joe Budden and 112, American artists that I'm sure you've probably heard of. Finally, I've competed and won in more MC battles that I can remember, so I'm no slouch with the freestyles.

Take this performance for what it's worth, a sappy ode to brown girls that will get applause from a whitewashed desi crowd largely ignorant of hip hop music.

Finally, let the haters say whatever they want to say. I grew up in a 100% white town and getting hate from ignorant people is nothing new to me. However, I actually care about my craft, so I listen to the criticisms I'm given and definitely take them into account, regardless of whether it is positive or negative. I'm always trying to improve and I really do thank the haters, you help to keep me humble and hungry.

As for the name "Roger Bling", it was how my God daughter used to say my name Rajeev Billing when she was young and first learning how to speak. She passed away from a neuroblastoma when she was 7 years old and I kept the name in homage to her. She's also the reason that I am pursuing the career that I chose............
