Khan had him whipped from Round 1
Shame it had to be stopped but that cut on Barrera was badass.
Roach has just changed Khan's game like no end! Amazing foot back, excellent fast combinations then retreat - can not knock Khan for that display. He deserves alot of credit from being the pussy before to fighting with that style and skill - all he needs now is another top rank fight and he has def cemented his name on the path to being a serious contender for some titles. Roach wouldnt say some of the good shit he did if he didnt think Khan was going places.

Would of loved to see the full 12 rounds and really see what khan is about atleast there isnt a doubt of is he or isnt he although its an old barrera it would give us a solid idea, good fight by khan! i see a rematch coming real soon!

Shit Fight.
He should fight people his age.
I dont like it when young boxers fight legends when they are old. Where is the respect?

Naseem was a good fighter and put on a good show i agree he was too cocky and he should have had a rematch with Barerra.

No chance, Barerra will go down as a legend whereas Naseem will be remembered for not much.

Up to Barerra's fight he had a good record and quite a few knock downs, he was good at entertaining people andhad a good style of fighting. He should have had a rematch with Barerra and proved to everyone that he was a better fighter. Barerra only won on a few points and if Hamed trained and chilled out on his cockiness he would have beaten him.

Yeah true, that defeat pretty much ended the career, then he became fat.

The Prince is a legend.
He lost one fight. Apart from that one loss. He smashed everone is own weight and anyone who wanted to fight him.
I personally think the Prince won that fight against Barrera.
In my book that makes him a legend. He had class and was cocky. He brought to boxing what it lacked.

I dont understand why he didnt have a rematch up until Barerra's fight he had no defeats, he could have trained harder and come back, but maybe he couldnt be bothered.

Yes i agree he was entertaining to watch not like todays boxers who are quite boring and predictable to watch.

OR he just got shown up when being paired with a real fighter?
Warren is known to make shadow champions for money - Khan is a good example - all his previous fights have been with nobodies.....Prescott was a challenge and Khan was unlucky to get caught.
Barerra - still good but not at his peak.

Prince Naseem, one of my favourite boxers of all time. The talent he had is indisputable, the guy would come in dancing and then KO the opponent. It is quite obvious his training completely went downhill when he changed trainers and would just look for the one-punch KO.
He could've been elite, if only he trained hard enough, he would've KO'd Barrera. Barrera is considered an elite legendary boxer. Everybody talks about he 0wnd the Prince. How many times did he knock him down?

Naseem went down hill when he got his family to take over and booted Warren out.
I see the same trends in Khan already with heavy family influence - which is why he lost his other boxing game - when you live with mummy and daddy, and uncles are all around blowing air up your ass and telling you your shit dont stink - you start to beleive it.

Pretty much sums up my opinion exactly. However with Khan, I think he may not go downhill provided he's controlled. Freddie has said in an interview many times that they pulled him away from his hometown and circle of friend so he can dedicate himself fully to training (in L.A). So he can be successful if he continues to train in America and spars with some true warrior Mexicans. Them British Chav journeymen aint got shit on no Burrito eating motherfuckers.

I agree with you on this - Roach was right to do what he did - and he also allegedly tells them No family. This is exactly how it needs to be if he wants to be a world fighter. No family, no nice warm food from the house, no Homies hanging on as you got a few flash cars, etc etc
I was surprised at Freddi though in his interview when he openly declared he thinks Khan will get world titles - freddie isnt known to be such bold when saying stuff like this - so he obv seen something in Khan ?
Id still like to seem him go for Prescott - until then I got doubts on him.

Yeah, like you said Freddie must definitely see something in him. Freddie has also declared that he has faster handspeed than Manny. Futures looking bright. But yeah, he's got unfinished business with Prescott, who I think he can tactically outpoint, or even a late KO. It needs to be a convincing win however, as that ***** humiliated him pretty bad.

Yeh deffo - I dont think there is anyone out there with faster hand speed then Khan? Not that Ive seen anyway.
Agree - he has to take Prescott in 6 rounds to be able to forget him I reckon.
I dont agree he got "owned" as alot say about him
How many people could have taken that hit from Prescott and stood up? It was a clear hit with weight behind it - any other boxer in the same weight or even above would have been floored I reckon.

Although I agree that not many boxers would have withstood such a punch, he did get owned. He got his tactics all wrong and rushed in; watch the fight again and see just before the first knockdown how his leg wobbles from a jab. Now I don't know if that's from having weak legs, nerves acting up, or a combination of both. Also taking in to account the fact that this was the first fight of 10 (I think) on Sky Sports and on PPV, AND it was in his hometown or wider area of Manchester, it reeks of ownage. However, I don't think he has a china chin, he just has bad tactics and has proved way too one-dimentional and lacked a certain style. I do genuinely think that Roach has changed him though, but only time will tell.

True - his legs went - i mean it is embarrasing to even watch - but it was a tough hit. Totally - he got his game plan wrong - he came out to knock him down - that was crazy.
