since they downgraded it in 2004, too many people have started smoking and selling it. they thought downgrading it they would save police time but all that its done is make is easier for people to get hold of. this mental problems crap is just an excuse for their shit experiment which flopped big time.

while its been at class c i wouldnt expect there to be many convictions for possession but i do expect that number to rise now its been upgraded.

i'll be honest, while you do see 15-18 year old kids selling weed for an image, i know plenty of people who sell weed for a living. not because its legal but its easy money and the legal side of it isnt too bad either, if you get caught with less than 9 ounces and its not all bagged up, the chances are you will get away with a suspended sentence.

you see more people pushing weed than hard drugs like coke not just because its easier but its a completely different ball game. you make more money but the risk out on road too much, not from police but from rival shotters.

I also don't mind weed as its less twisted... bear in mind i smoke a lot less than you so it takes less to get me lifted... but i dont mind a mellow weed high...

Well I certainly don't do it to feel like I look cool or whatever. It's the illegal status that makes me feel completely the opposite, especially when things like alcohol are legal and make you look like more of a tool.

I prefered it in Amsterdam when there was no stigma against it. I felt more relaxed, less paranoid and not like a "stoner" but just chilled.

The culture among the youth when getting high is terrible, you're right, but so many of us enjoy the herb for reasons other than those you have stated. I, for one, prefer to just watch some great comedy or listen to some brilliant music when I am high, using the feeling to accentuate certain things sometimes missed when sober.
