ohh yeah, back in the days, RD was much smaller, so there used to be like city/state meets, and a bunch of RDers would meetup and hangout for the day like at six flags, bars, etc. In NY particularly, there were always meets and RDers became everyday friends.. things are certainly different.

The best part about meeting my bf was the fact that he was in Cali at the time (I live in Portland, Oregon) and within 6-7 months, he moved here to be closer to me, and now we have a house together. It's quite the story, but the age difference didn't really help us then, we meet when I was 15 and he was 21. yikes.
