If she's superficial (most tend to be) buy them some kind of jewelry or something they've had their eye on for a while.

What I find a waste of time is month aniversaries, they are pointless and celebrates something that really isnt to hard (keeping a relationship stable). Your right about the length, you just gotta find the right person, but what I was trying to say how many gifts do you exchange 4 months in a relationship? (excluding birthdays) not many, so it shouldnt be hard for him.
