Whats your ideas/thoughts on this?
The dos and donts?
Not crosing the line in male/female friendships?
Knowing when to tell your friends that they are messing up.
Not being scared to tell them the right thing because you dont want to hurt thier feelings.
etc...discuss
Inspired by a thread Baliwala made the other day about telling your friends when they have gone too far. not taking their side when you know they are wrong.

i think people need to STOP unnecessarily flirting w/ their friends of the opposite sex. it's freaking stupid... a very close friend of mine did this w/ me & i was just extremely confused & i thought he liked me. which sucked b/c i liked him for two years... & then he was like, "i don't like you."
hahaha.
so basically, this needs to be avoided! there's no real point to it.

know the boundaries of friendship. have a balance of both male and female friends. be honest in your friendships, be able to give your opinion and stand up for your beliefs. friends should respect your ideals, they don't need to agree. but let you have your own.

dont expect much
Well sometimes that can work against you because you get what you expect and if its not much then thats what you have been dished by your friends. Which is sad in times when you really need them

I start off by being an asshole to everyone I know, so when the inevitable asshole/bitch moment comes up, you won't be sad or mad or anything, it'd just be normal. Of course people have to know when to be nice as well.
I just find being outright nice to someone when you now get to know them, as if they've just saved your life, is a bad bad idea.
