View Full Version : If You Are In A Relationship....

Would you really bother communicating via FaceBook, MSN (sending files music pictures yeah sure), RD even (if you're both on a forum/rating site)?
I mean if you're in a relationship isn't texting each other enough to get a simple message across.
Must you spill cacophonous bullshit on the wall of your other half?
Is it to make it known to others that they belong to you? Is that insecurity or just a very sweet show of affection.

haha i prefer getting private sweet messages, although it doesn't bother me either way, if it's a private sneaky text or shouting it from the roof tops (in a classy manner of course :p ) as long as its directed to me.
The only reason i'd want it displayed anywhere was if i felt it wasn't made clear to his girl 'friends'.
But hey i'm a very jealous person :/

Apart from the conventional methods I've only ever used Facebook to communicate with them. Even so it's just to send/receive party invitations and that's it.
Msning and the rest just suggests you're too clingy.

Well, you see.. He is my best friend as well as my significant other.
I speak to him before going to sleep, i speak to him when i wake up for Sehri, I text him in the morning, we leave each other messages on FaceBook (poems, joking around) we don't chat on MSN or any other places on the net. I speak to him sometimes usually straight after work on the train until I get to my car. To be honest it's still not enough. :ugh: We've been together for years and years...yet time seems to go so quick when we're together..
Our relationship is like Marmite, you either love us or hate us. Most people would envy what we have and others will hate what we have.

Nope. Like i said most people won't agree with it, when i have close friends i have really close friends that i will take time out to speak to them and see them. Same applies for my other half. We balance things out. Do our own things. But do prefer to spend time with one another.
:-| I would consider myself lucky.

I USED to do that, only on RD though... cos I didn't like total strangers eyeing up my 'man' lol and leaving random comments on his page, it infuriated me at moments, and made me feel more insecure and paranoid. This was when I was like 17 - you grow out of that habit as you age :)

My cousin and her husband commute via fb and msn everyday from work. And they constantly txt each other when they are not around each other. I dont see any harm in it.
Being insecure in a relationship is different.

YEAH sis u tell em...
if you cannot communicate with your other half to the extent where its a various form of methods than your doomed! cos if you aint communicating with her, then shes communicating with someone else or you are communicating with someone else..its common i see it all the time, yet the person doing it cant..(u or her)
you shud always give your other half more time than others, but enuf to spare your mates and you family... if your spending too much time with mates and family and not enuf time with her/him then youll have shit storms heading your way later on in 50 years, when u got the old fart ONLY in your life to clean u up if u go langreh!

i don't see the harm in communicating on FB in a private form (i.e. private msgs) or on the wall to write general stuff... general communication. i would never write anything personal on the wall because everyone can see it, and i like my personal life personal.
