I don't know why you said religion?? When did religion stop anyone from getting into relationships as long as you've met someone who believes in the same faith. Which is true for most. if religion was against male-female bonding than most of wouldn't be here today :).

I said religion because some people fall for someone outside their religion i.e. Muslim with Hindu or Jews for example.

I dont want to be in the relationship because I have seen so many people gets hurt or heartbroken and even some people dont recovered from it. I dont want to have a 'past' and I expect my guy the same.

A relationship is a later stage of a strong friendship, so there may just be lack of opportunities for ppl to start of with good friendships...

and then there could be so many reasons, bad past experiences, hard luck, having difficult tastes and not being psychologically or financially strong to support one... to name a few))

and then some people just try to and want to get into a relationship with the one they really want to be in, but may be the story was not so simple and the other person was already committed to someone else or simply was too egoistic to understand this dudes feelings or even didnt much care

Then there are times when one its just hard luck to fall prey into wrong traps which may not end up in a successful relationship...its also difficult to get ones virtual "Ms RIGHT" or 'Mr RIGHT" and there may just be so few opportunities to get to knowing the right people, communicating smoothly with them and then starting off with a relationship...
