The husband of special constable Nisha Patel-Nasri has been handed a life sentence for her murder.

Fadi Nasri was ordered to serve a minimum of 20 years after he was found guilty of organising his wife's death so he could live a life of luxury with his prostitute lover.
The 29-year-old hairdresser and special constable was stabbed outside their home in Wembley in 2006 while her husband played snooker.
She was knifed in the groin by a 13-inch knife from her own kitchen.
Judge Peter Beaumont, the Recorder of London, told Nasri he had betrayed the
trust he owed his wife.
"She was a loyal, loving and supportive wife," the judge said.
Two other men were also responsible for Nisha's death.
Drug dealer Rodger Leslie, 38, acted as go-between and hired 36-year-old bouncer Jason Jones to be the hitman.
Leslie was given a minimum term of 18 years and Jones must serve at least 20 years.
Nasi, who ran an escort agency and limousine business, wanted his wife dead so he could pay off debts with her £100,000 life insurance policy.
The 34-year-old also wanted a new life with his Lithuanian lover, Laura Mockiene.
A photo of the prostitute's thigh on Nasri's mobile phone led police to discover his affair and a possible motive.
The three men were found guilty of Mrs Patel-Nasri's murder at a trial at the Old Bailey last month. A fourth man, Tony Emmanuel, was acquitted.

This story is normal in comparision to the other british desi murders that kill thier own children, or kill because they are tired of arranged marriage, or because of "honor,"- he killed for money and a new hot pussy.

Lets just hope they don't shorten the sentence later on. How sick can a human get to kill his own wife for money and a low lifer. And he went onto to TV to find her murderer when all along it was him - what a lunatic!

well he didn't actually murder her... he arranged the killing. which in the eyes of the law is just as bad.

this guy is dodgy and has always been dodgy. but what concerns me is the fact the she has always been described as an 'angel' who would never hurt anyone. so what was she doing with a guy like him? according to police intelligence he has always been involved in dodgy dealings.. and she was a basically a police officer. remember there also accusations that she used her warrant badge to scare people off.

Well, when someones murdered they usually get seen as an Angel, kind of suprised only a yr or two into marriage and it stoops to murder. Usually, first few years is the HoneyMoon period. Still wrong for what he did, whether he killed her or planned for someone else to same thing.

Some people are just stupid. i swear the guy sorted out her life insurance and that crap only 2-3 months after they got married. he must have had it in mind even when they got married.

He's an idiot - didn't he hook up with his Lover not so long after his wifes death? I mean, talk about raising blatant suspicion.

you know the police only realised what he was up to when they looked through his phone and saw a picture. it wasn't a full picture of her (his hooker) but she was in the picture partially. the detectives were concerned about it and decided to investigate further... and what a good job they did.

has he even admitted to what happened? or even his two co defendants?

the only person to admit anything was the ' get away driver '. he was the one who gave the police all the information they needed and was therefore told no further action would be taken as the Crown Prosecution offered no evidence on his behalf due to co-operation from the defendant.

Imagine they didn't find these pictures and he waited good yr before he went ahead with his initial plan? He could have easily of gotten away with it. Sometimes murderers plan everything out very carefully and just about get away but forget the most stupidest and the most obvious things to hide.

yeah well lucky the detectives were on point.

it was only a picture and it could have been anyone. it must have been something for the police to investigate further. plus his dodgy past wouldnt have helped.
