Thinkin of applying for MA in Enterainment law on the Regent campus.
Who knows or has heard about this uni or the central london regent street campus?
Need some feedback, bout stuff like what kinda people you find there, teaching standards, accommodations etc
cant find many reviews online and really dont wanna end up in another shitty institute.

No it wasnt the Regents campus.

It was the campus at Harrow.

The bottom line is the place does not have proper resources that include professors and other tution related resources.

I dont know about now but had some prity nasty experiences with these people two years back.

Left that uni and went to the uni of edinburgh.

Edinburgh was more then good.

You can have better choices then this as there are a alot of unis out there.

I think the School Of Law actually has a 5* Ranking its the best department at the Uni as far as i know. And the school of arts is also good.

Its not even ranked in some subjects, but lucky for u someone sed it has 5* law department..so, maybe ul get away with it..
I think u shud pay a visit if u havent done so already. it will give u idea..of how its like.
and also...accomodation is pretty expensive in london anyways...house with some trust worthy mirpuri friends wont do any harm :-P nah jokes, but am sure u know wt i mean

It's a total shit university, full of people that get into one of the University of London colleges. Once you graduate you're going to have a qualification from an institute which has little to no respect in the eyes of employers. Avoid it.

For example if you apply for a training contract and the law firm only has one left and two applicants ones that went to West'er and the other lets say a UoL college such as LSE, for arguments sake, 99% of the time they'd be inclined towards the LSE graduate.

Oh cool, the school of dentistry is right next to our medical school building. LSE are known to be gcse nazi like, but rightfully so they're only 2nd to Oxford and Cambridge in what they do. Although UCL are giving them a good run for their money over the past few years.

Mancs is good, it's been pushing up the table in the past few years, still not in the top 10 but the social aspect make for it.

UCL is pretty good uni...but wen it comes to Economics, LSE tops.
yeh mani is pretty good. and the low rankings its easily makes up, as the larrgest university in terms of $$$ and ppl, and its rapidly getting better...they say it will be top 25 in the world in 2015.

I was there for 3 yrs at the regents campus. I lvoed the location esp cos i could shop till i dropped and edgware road was like round the corner. As an institution its pretty good VERY independent learning, lecturers wont really offer a helping hand unless u go after them but they are generally quite helpful once u ask for help. Teaching is alright, not spectacular but not totally shit but sometimes i sued to get the feeling they just wanna go through the material and go home as much as we do. Other students r pretty good, liked em, lotds of desis n non desis too pretty well mixed,
have no idea about accomodation cos i commuted
