Join us on 08/08/08 to experience over 3 hours of explosive live performances by 4 unique US based South Asian Artists Spanning the Genres of Rock and Pop.
Not your normal networking event, this gives you the opportunity to network with the best and brightest of NYC'S Young South Asian Professional Community while enjoying live music by some of the best up and coming artists of the area. So come support a great cause, enjoy great music and meet old and new friends.
Doors open 6:00 PM and live performances will start at 6:30 PM sharp to accommodate all of the bands in the allocated time.

A New York based singer and composer, Fahad has been composing music since childhood, fusing his influences from various eastern and western genre's of music. He has revved up crowds with his infectious melodies at several concert venues. After the recent release of his single Teray bina he is working on his first album. Look for his recently released music video on South Asian channels such as MTV Pakistan, Aag TV, The Musik and Play TV.

Meaning "Every Single Poison" in Urdu. 2. is the effect that an individual has, positive or negative…Har Ik Zehr is a 3 person multi-cultural, musical experiment comprised of Pakistani born guitarist/vocalist Amish Dar, Chinese-American bassist Timothy Leung, and drummer Richard Orjuela who was born in New York City, but grew up in Bogotá, Colombia. Their music is a fusion of each member's own culture and life experiences shaped by their experience in America.

Meetu brings a cross-cultural exoticness to pop and jazz music. From sultry crooning to Indian riffing to high pop belting, her voice carries a wide range of capabilities. Her eclectic taste in music is evident in her performances and makes for a universally appealing sound.

Audible Dreams is a Philadelphia-based Hard Rock Band. The band consists of Faisal Masood on lead vocals, Faraz Ahmad on Rhythm/Lead Guitars, Back up Vocals, Compositions, Lyrics, and Arrangements, Fahad Azam on the Bass Guitar, and Mohammad "Mozi" Ahmad on drums. It's hard to categorize AD's music, but their lyrical content and melodic compositions offer an interesting take on society, and are an amalgamation of their perspectives and life experiences. The group of 4 combines into one heavy blow of energy that will rock you out!

This is a benefit concert and net proceeds will be donated to the Rotaract Club of Karachi Metropolitan (RCKM) rozgar project.
RCKM is one of the 7,600 Rotaract clubs in the world. It is a unique blend of students and young professionals from all walks of life. The Club was formed in July, 2001 and received Best Club award of 2007/08 for outstanding work on personal development and funding educational institutes.
