hey all, i've decided to go against the stereotypical job choice. i want to be a graphic designer or illustrator or something like art director in adverting. just something i like going in to work for.


anyone in any of these industries. how do you get your first job? is it more vocational?

yeah. i just wondered how you go about getting your first gig. do you have to have a portfolio or something.

i'd quite like to get into advertising. sitting around coming up with ideas all day sounds sweet.
