Adding overnight international transit of a dead body complicates matters to the nth degree b/c there are all sorts of clearances you have to get before you can export a dead body.

Well, adherence to tradition is a personal matter. However, I do believe there are specific time constraints for burial proceedings. I remember this because an Imam at a local Masjid was making a sales pitch for grave sites in the newly purchased graveyard, talking about how difficult it is to get a proper Islamic burial here in the US with the time constraints that exist for a proper burial according to Islamic tradition/guidelines.

Either way, I know that you're not allowed to stick the body in a fridge or enbalm it or any of that shit if you're muslim.

Lol wouldn't be the first time. You know what though, the thing that got me thinking after the fake-death thread was how young he was (is). I mean yeah we're all pretty young and a lot of kids our age and younger die and everyone knows that - but there are moments where you really think about it and how you could be dead tomorrow or even today - it's pretty terrifying from a religious point of view lol.
