View Full Version : IF the wifey got fat....

Is it okay for a man to cheat on her. I was talking about this with lots of my friends. If a woman was real into her looks when she was young and picking up guys, but then once she gets married she lets herself get fat as a house, does the guy have a right to cheat? My friends and I know ppl like this. It just is kinda insulting to the guy for his wife to maintain herself for other men when she was young and picking up men, but all of a sudden to just get fat once she lands a man.
Is it okay for the guy to cheat? She obviously doesnt give a fuck about him, otherwise she'd take care of herself better. Is it okay if he strays?
I have a guy friend who does this b/c his gf has totally let herself go. She's also lazy. I used to think he was in the wrong but now I can see his pt of view.

Cheat no. If there are problems and he doesnt want to be with her anymore, has the right to end it. But just because she put on some pounds, thats not a reason. If her attitude to everything has changed and things are getting bad then a divorce can be on the cards. Cheating isn't allowed by either partner under any circumstances.

You can't justify cheating. I mean if the guy is with her just because of her looks then what's the point?

I'd never let her get fat in the first place. Tell her what's what, if she lets that ass go, I go. Plus among all the other things, physical attraction is important in a relationship. Going from fitty to fatty is like someone with a great personality turning into a total arsehole.

lol absolutely not. If my wife doesn't make an effort for me and lets her laziness get in the way of our relationship then we'd probably have to have a serious talk. If things are beyond reconciliation then perhaps a divorce is in order. And once that's done I'll be hitting on them young chicks

Two-part answer:
1. It's not okay for the wife to let herself go. In that case, I would kindly ask her to lose her flab.
2. It's never okay to cheat, regardless of the situation. Swinging does not count as cheating.

well has he asked her to lose weight n stop bein lazy in a nice way? i guess she should have continued to maintain herself after marriage.. do they have kids?.. i don think its ryt for him to cheat on her tho.. no matter wat shape, form or size she's in.. i mean wat if sumthing happned to him.. e.g. he had an accident.. cudn walk anymore.. n became fat..as well? wud he be okay wid her cheatin on him? i gues wat im tryna say is it all comes down to how much dey love eachother.. if they can think bout cheatin on eachother den dey shudnt be in a marriage to begin wid..

I don't agree with cheating in any way or form. If the gf or wifey let herself get really out of shape and becomes slothful then the bf or hubby should sit her down and let her know how he feels about it and suggest what she should do to improve things. If she doesn't take his advice or care about how he feels then its time to break up/get a divorce.

Depends how fat. Men should be faithful...but theres a limit. I'd personally tell her "sweety, you're too fat please lose the weight"...my parents have a pretty good system. They pretty much control what the other eats. Like my mum will tell my dad off for eating too much and vice versa.

Though I have to admit...I wouldn't want when I get married my hubby telling me what and what not to eat.

Yeh, but it happens both ways. And they do it to me too. I can't eat junk food in front of my mum without her telling me that i should go and exercise unless i wanna get fat...and it works.

Of course not.
Once you're married, it's not a joke.
If you think your wife is letting herself go, then TALK to her about it. Suggest going to the gym together, and make healthy meals together.
Cheating? WHY???
That just means that the GUY was with her, only for superficial reasons.

NOT if she tries hard to loose it, for example if she chases him around the sofa like 100 times than thats ok..
its not always fat that makes people cheat, and sometimes i hate when gurls think they are fat, and try TOooo much OTT and think that loosing it will make them have a better chance...
i cant remember but iv read some where fat people are more jokier than skinny people.
oh and cheating full stop is wrong no matter how lonely the guy is... theres a thing called divorce! why would you knowingly allow your other half to cheat no matter how fat you are... i think they need to do a fat vs cheating film... theyve done baby vs cheating!
