Implicit atheists (can be agnostic) for eg. may have never been raised around religion so they are indifferent to the idea of god's, spirirts...so by default they have no belief in these things. An explicit atheist like myself has asserted as a belief that there is no God...

I dont think it originates in the west, if the idea of a higher power can be found universally, then why can't the idea of a lack of higher power be found universally as well?? I'm quite sure atheists have existed all over the planet asserting their disbelief at the deities which are found locally...and i dont believe atheism is exclusively anti-christian at all, it simply depends where the atheist lives. The idea that you have in your little head that only Islam has people outside the arab world is pure stupidity....the same thing can be said about any religion

A couple areas Islam has cornered though are the blowing up market, poverty market, bigoted market, us vs them market, death to america slogan market, the jews are bad people slogan market, halal meat market, we all want to be like the arabs market,...im sure the rest of us are really jealous over that :ugh:

1) Although the sentiment may be abhorrent as it is. There is always a reason why people hold such views as "death to america"...
2) Don't judge a religion by the people.
3) Not all muslims hate jews.
4) Whats wrong with Halal meat? - its more hygenic anyway.
5) The "us vs them" mentality represents the human tendency to identify ourselves by what we are NOT rather than what we are...im sure we can find this mentality among paranoid Americans too...

Do you operate under some kind of rule where you have to end a good post with bigotry??
