Tariq has been taking some lumps for his post on some Muslims’ endless condemnation of the West. Even IF the hatred was justified, should it reach the level of fanatical lunacy that we see with nutcases like OBL who love to kill and maim children? Should hatred lead us to leave all rational thought?

Because of irrational hatred, the people in Germany elected Hitler.

I thank Allah that OBL - or anyone like him - is not in charge anywhere, or they would slaughter tens of millions and make the holocaust look like a drive by shooting. There would be mass graves everywhere and bodies littering the streets. That is where irrational hatred leads. It doesn’t solve problems. It creates more problems. Because of OBL, millions of Muslims and non-Muslims have been killed (that is what that immoral man wants)

Have those that hate the West ever thought that they are giving near divine power to the West? Have they never thought that perhaps some of the blame may lie with us? Why do we have to blame ALL the problems on the insidious West? How about we do some thinking for a change

And they wonder why people ask “if they hate it so much, then why do they come?

Criticizing things from time to time is one thing - and is fair. However, going on these weekly rants about the evil of the West - while not addressing any of your own problems - gets stale. Then on top of all of that, these very people who make their career out of hatred of the West - when threatened with deportation - will claim all of their Western rights in order to stay and are only dragged out clawing, kicking and screaming.

There is a such thing as “voting with your feet” - meaning to leave. If they are irredeemably evil, then leave. I would say the same to a Westerner living in a Muslim country but constantly and incessantly complaining about how much they hate it - yet getting all kinds of benefits for living there.

Haven’t we grown tired of being angry all the time? Or is being angry all the time the eighth pillar of Islam?

This is proof that it's the hindus(not all) here who incite most of the religious tension that exists on this forum. I don't recall myself or any of the other outspoken muslims here (all 2 of us) creating threads going at hinduism or any other religion. some people just need to chill.

Bamiyan's SN has something to do with a region of Afghanistan. Which leads me to believe he belongs most likely to a minority ethnic group in Afghanistan who believe a US invasion of their country was to their benefit.
