not anonymous mail, it wasn't postmarked or anything. someone actually came to my doorstep & left this package there while i was away at school. i guess because they couldn't get a hold of my dad's email address. sigh. maybe i need to talk to my mom again.

hahaha, this kinda reminds me of this psycho super-distant relative that felt rejected (because i didn't reciprocate romantic interest in him) and i totally cut him out of my life (my parents and dad's side of the family were aware of his psychotic stalkerish tendencies and pretty much supported me cutting him out)...

so he ended up running across and stalking my profile on orkut, and right clicked/saved my pictures, some of which included my then-boyfriend (whom my own parents were aware about as I'm not someone who really enjoys living a double life). again, nothing explicit, just pecking on the cheek and such.

basically, this psycho distant relative (who was my dad's brother's sister's cousin brother) went to visit my uncle (dad's brother) and aunt (because he was her cousin brother), and showed off these pictures to them all hoping to create drama and make me look all scandalous. he even went as far as to lie and say i "emailed them to him".....which my relatives became a bit worked up about because to their understanding i had cut off communication (and in reality, i totally had)....anyway.... my dad's side of the family whom i'm not exactly very close with and never would be close to...just thrives on drama. so they picked up right away, im sure they had a wonderful little gossip fest. that summer, my drama-loving paternal grandma (another relative i can never respect) came to spend a few months in the states with my family...tried to create juicey gossippy drama with my parents regarding these pictures and the fact that i had a boyfriend. :lol: my parents retorted back and said "we're aware of him, she didn't keep him from us" and went on to add "we know she can take care of herself...she didn't even bother to take advantage of her freedom at college to drink/party/go clubbing even once...." and it was really nice to see my parents standing up like that and controlling the situation that way.. my grandma and relatives shut up right away and attempted to agree with them as if they had never implied anything else. :no: morons.

oh, i forgot to add. my paternal grandma tried to sit me down and "talk" about my boyfriend and these pictures. and i smiled and said "...oh these pictures, these are nothing. wait till i show you the others"...

anyway. i guess what i'm trying to say is, perhaps it's some jealous chick or really twisted relative :dunno: it's a possibility.

it is a concern, and importantly you should try and find out who is behind it all. in the meantime, until you can find out, be careful and don't post pictures up on public sites. i'm sure you've learned this already. be careful even with facebook.

wow..well it's awesome that your parents defended you. see something like that i could picture my relatives doing but only if they came across such pictures by chance, i doubt they'd go looking for them. it's this whole writing a letter nonsense that throws me off.

i don't think so. the email address was something like "yahoohelper." also, because on myspace you needed to have an account to view a person's pictures & obviously my mom didnt have one, the email included a separate email/password for her to use to log in & see my pictures. =/
