shabaz, I think this happens mostly with ppl who r livin in western side of the map' becuz there is too much exposure to such stories/gossips and plus the women have unlimited access. Back in east its considered bad for women to go outside ALONE...but im hearing thats changing due to western influence growing.

it also depends on the kind of soulm8 one choses n lastly how much time one gives to family.

In islam, scholars go as far as saying, if ur wife/husband doesnot pray (salah) they become NON MUSLIM (murtadh) n r no longer to be considered ur soulm8 n u must leave em. Many ppl r guilty of this but un-aware. or juz dont take deen as serious. So when ppl forget their deen, they r the ones who will go around comit acts of evil n cheating n etc...
