Say Nahiii to Travel Tax

The idea of tracking every vehicle at all times is sinister and wrong. Road pricing is already here with the high level of taxation on fuel. The more you travel - the more tax you pay.

It will be an unfair tax on those who live apart from families and poorer people who will not be able to afford the high monthly costs.

Please Mr Blair - forget about road pricing and concentrate on improving our roads to reduce congestion.

Contrary to what the media is saying, this will happen. However....not yet.

It will be phased in over 10-25 years.

Next will be Manchester to get Congestion Charges then wider.....that will remain in tact for a while...then motorways.....and THEN a wider agenda...

This is inevitable...unless a) the UK obtains £200 Billion from somwhere b) the travel networks improve...

We are a small Island, space is becoming a premium, we have an influx of european immigrants, we have a extremely large Health Service Bill, we have a sub standard trade deficit,

This all leads to the UK needing more money. This is WHY the Gambling laws were changed to allow for SUper Casinos. This is WHY Cannabis was downgraded with the intention of maming it legal (have you any idea how much £££ in tax this would generate?),

Its alot more complex...but UK is becoming a rich mans country.....where only the smart will \ can live....but t wont get to the BAD status untill at least another 40 odd years....

Not as easy as that. If it wasnt for the "foreigners" you wouldnt be here...as your old are exactly that. If it wasnt for the "foreigners" the service industry in this country would take a suffering, etc etc.....its a massive circle full of inter-dependencies.........what we really need to do; is have tighter border controls and have a set process for people coming into the country.

I personally dont have an issue with people coming into the country, as my olds came here in 60's, and although I was born here....if it wasnt for this system they wouldnt have been allowed here....

We need to hold people who come into the country, process each of them, remove the right for state fundedrights for legal counsel, and do one better.....Send them back to where they came from....and let them apply from there!...Australia has the system to the T......but we dotn have any gutsy politicians to go this route.....

Britain just never stopped its borders even when space was limited. Now we all have to sit on top of each other.

and i believe blair boy should lead by example, i always see him stepping out of jags and other cars which arent good for saving the planet, why should us joe publics have to pay extra to conserve the world when he just runs around using up our air?

id like to also see him take the tube to work in the morning and then tell me that making us commuters pay more than 5quid to travel is justified, the tubes are still jam packed and they still run late.
