Kashmir is not a part of what??? The Maharaja, Hari Singh, legally joined the Indian Union, so Kashmir in its fullest extent, including the parts taken by Pakistan and CHina, are a part of the state of Kashmir, which is a state of India. Religion cannot be used as a reason to take it from India as India also has like a buncha Muslims who live happy lives there. Its not that Kashmir doesnt want to join India, its that theyre frustrated with all the fighting. India won't leave cuz its their land and Pakistan won't leave cuz they want the land. If SOMEONE leaves, they will be happy.

And btw, its people of Pakistani descent who are leading the opposition in Kashmir against the Indian government and telling them not to take part in Indian politics.
