it depends whether u want to move away from home or commute, wat i did was check the times league university league table, apply to 3 top unis, and 2 avergae ones and 1 last resort (back/up), im from birmingham, so go to Aston University

id suggest avery hill..its more of a studenty hub there but my cousin (who goes there) said that they closed the main SU there so more are coming to the one near the actual maritime campus

when i was an undergrad, one of my housemates used to go to greenwich and the halls are pretty sweet..the newer ones (well they were new then) that are near the maritime campus

i think.. THINK im staying @ the martime campus ones, my cousin said the ones there are super nice and refurbished and all that... i wanna do Journalism primarily BUT the course they do is journalism/PR/marketing and i think its better to do a degree where i get a bigger range of skills if you get where im coming from? all other unis do new media journalism etcc and that involves BROADCAST journalism but i wanna do print.. and greenwich do that

yeah that one is quite nice, the avery hill one is ok too but the maritime halls are nicer because they are newer, though you might feel a bit distant from all the goings on because my friend said that when her mate lived there, she felt a bit out of it but as i said, my cousin said that theyve shut down the main SU place at avery hill so all those people now hang out at the maritime SU..so it might be ok?

the buildings are quite nice too actually (says she who has only been in the reception area) and its quite a picturesque uni in that respect, my mum fell in love with it the first time she came to see me when i moved out (i lived literally 5/10 mins away)

is greenwich the only one that does it?
