I got there a bit late, displaying my affection towards the Desi Standard Time. Upon my arrival though, I noticed that the movie had started, yet the theatre seemed dark and empty. I had heard good reviews of the movie, and did not expect it to be empty on a tuesday night.
Baffled as I was, it wasn't until a comical scene that I realized that the theatre was filled with black people.

I dont think darkness and white people have the same effect as darkness and black folks.

Unless you're blind.

there's something odd about sitting in the theatre for 3 hrs for an American movie.
i usually save my 3 hrs threshold in case i am prompted with a bollywood flick - but then, in a bolywood flick, you can "bhangra paao" without being scrutinized to make up for your legs falling asleep.
