did any of you see that article on the bbc covering it? how we can all claim back our bank charges. pure heavy, i got 432.00 in bank charges last year cos i never used my student account and just left it to rot. and now im gonna get it all back from the scumbags! muahahahaah

Whats bank charges did you incur? Like u said u let it to rot, so that means the only charge applicable would be tax.

noo.. i dunno what went on. like overdraft fee or something, charged sometimes at £48 a pop.

Yeah banks specify that you are liable to a set fee or charges everytime you go into an overdraft that has not been priorly arranged and agreed by them or if it exceeds that which was agreed, so it should be ur fault for not having a student account, cos u get £500 a year with it with some banks.

They tried getting me like that back in my studie days. haha they said its like 5 quid for everyday u stay over f'in mugs !

Just to let you know..Banks arnt aloud to charge u more than it cost them to deal with the problems that come with you going overdraft...but banks never tell us how much it cost them..they just say in small print it will cost you £30...but a bbc report found that it could never ever ever cost more than £4 at the most per fucked up overdraft..so alot of people r taking them to court and the banks have been paying back...just thought:D

and YES, the filth are charging us way more than it actually costs.. so people are claiming it all bank in teh thousands, hahah talk about major pwnage
