Nas' new album title "Hip Hop Is Dead" is nothing short of being controversial and alot of southern rappers are getting on his case. From Young Jeezy to T.I., Trick Daddy to J. Nicks to Jim Jones... all these artists claim that the title is implying towards Southern Music, since these artists believe that their brand of hip hop is on top right now and that is why they're pissed at Nas declaring Hip Hop "Dead". Instances of this would be, Jeezy getting emotional and caught up against a radio talkshow host Moni Love who agreed with Nas and declared Hip Hop Dead as well while presenting her argument and why she felt that way. Jeezy was trying to imply that Nas didnt consider his work a "craft" and Hip Hop is NOT "dead".... T.I. said "Nas can continue to make his egyptian rap songs, while we're gonna make this money." Jim Jones declared that Nas used to be illmatic but now he is a crack addict with a bad habit and called him "Bozo The Clown." Trick Daddy says ... "What do I think of this movement, Great Job Fool!(sarcastically)" J. Nicks and some of his boys on this video which can be seen on YouTube are gettin' @ Nas as well. It's crazy how people don't take the time to interpret the meaning behind something and assume and jump to conclusions and this is just a prime example of how the south feels like Nas is gettin' at them when that is clearly not the case and Nas even cleared that up on National TV.
