Truth be told, a lot of desi girls have shit dress sense. I have barely seen a well dressed desi girl walking the streets, the ones whom are, are acquainted with me and i usually tell them what to wear. Most desi girls look like they've been shopping in target with their mother.
They buy the most tackiest shit esp. jewelery:earrings etc.
Babes, the hip fobby clothes dont go good with jeans either. Grab some style.

I personally don't like the metrosexual Armaani ExpressMen fanatic gelled up hair look too much either. :Oops:There is a difference between metrosexual and men with style.
Metrosexuals usually wear clothes which are borderline homosexual/feminine, they are also in constant use of topical products that are quintessentially female, have a routines which are fem particular and have homosexual mannerisms.
The only thing seperating them and a queer is that they are straight in sexual orientation.

Men can look stylish and not look metrosexual. I generally wear masculine pieces of clothing that look good.

Either way, I personally don't give a shit about how stylish a guy is....All I know is that guys who look like a Desi version of Trent from Daria are hot.Christian Troy from Nip/Tuck
Jude Law
George Clooney (classic)
and i'd have to agree that Beckham is a massive trend setter, but he does get it wrong sometimes.

I think that Asian (desi) guys generally have pretty poor dress sense. I can't speak for those on the other side of the Atlantic but here in England you can't walk through an Asian area without seeing guys wearing shellsuits and tracksuits or the most ridiculous fluorescent Nike trainers. And to really give those trainers a knock-out effect they're all too often worn with jeans that are incredibly narrow at the ankle, giving a bit of a 'clown-feet' look. Chav-tastic!

Gold chains had their heyday in the late 90s but there are still more than enough of them around. Although there are plenty of Asian girls with big gold chains hanging around their necks (on the outside of their clothing, of course) and that looks a hell of a lot worse. Classy birds or what.

And then there’s the school of thought that thinks style comes with a top that has MOSCHINO written over it at least four hundred and fifty times in black and white. Boys and girls, a shopping spree at T K Maxx does not a stylish individual make.

However, rather than the apparel and accessories it's the facial hair that really sets us Asian guys apart. That needle-point sideburn and the Craig David-esque line beard really will not die its death…

But apparently it’s what Asian girls go for nowadays so I wonder who really is to blame!

I think you’re wrong because their bling is not expensive and their clothes look ugly on them and those girls who go for them really really love them and want to marry them. It’s like the love of their live. So I would say that most desi girls are just female versions of those pussies you described.

This is bullshit, i've seen your back against the mirror with a semi-backless top.

Makeup = fashion too, so im assuming correctly.

Besides the jewellery did seem tacky, I perfectly know what a desi bride looks like, but theres a high probability you'll use the same jewellery casually, because well you just seem like that kinda gal.

Back against a mirror? You mean I took a pic facing the cam to the mirror? lol And need I remind you it wasn't a backless top. Obviously you can't recall anything so let me do the honors...it had 20 strings in the back with fabric on the lower half. The front side of the blouse covers every bit of my body with no exposure.

I wouldn't be offered a job at MAC if I didn't know how to do makeup so I'll just leave it at that.

Of course I'll use the same jewelry over again. Otherwise it would just be a waste of money. Or I could sell it on ebay to buy new ones. But heavy desi jewelry like that can only be worn at weddings or big parties. Which is exactly when I plan on wearing them.

No. Semi backless would mean that its semi bare which it isn't. I think thats the only time I have posted a pic, well half a pic of one of my more dressy tops. I usually past my 'someone punched me in the face' neutral facial expressions.

So whats tacky? The fact that it has strings? Saree blouses also have strings in the back as well as deep back cuts, lengha cholis also have strings in the back, most girls in the villages in India wear backless lengha cholis or stringy ones. I guess they all have tacky taste eh.

Why are you trying to argue whether fashion in indian villages are in vogue?
Tacky implies a few things, but mainly cheapness and poor craftsmen ship.

I view most desi clothes in that esteem. Their are however exceptions to well designed, well crafted dresses. Desi girls are often blinded by the glitter of desi clothes that they don't realise that what they're putting on is not even 'chic'.

Uh Im not arguing the fact that they wear them. Im basically trying to tell you that 'strings' on a blouse/choli isn't tacky if its worn in a manner where there is no exposure. That is why I brought up saree blouses and lengha cholis.
