In the spirit of Da Ali G Show comes The Papdits, a comedy-reality hybrid series following the adventures of an Indian family seeking the American dream. The seemingly clueless Papdits interact with oblivious Americans around the country, creating uncomfortably hilarious situations wherever they go.

sounds like fun right? I hope this works out well i remember margret cho had a show called all american girl or something and i would laugh my ass off to it just because desis can somewhat relate...however it failed. so i wonder if a show like this can work or will it get old really quickly and desis not take to it as well. or will it just make desis look worse?

wow a friend and i were talking about goodness gracious and how wonderful it was

our other desis had no idea what we were going on an on about. the kumars at no.42 isn't so funny i mean the grandma is but sometimes i just don't get it. maybe it's because i don't know how most of the guests are on the show.

i used to watch the eastenders when i was younger and they had a desi couple...

mr bean had some cop comedy show with a desi character by the name of habib she was pretty hot too i must say

i really like how bbc or i guess uk tv has desis on tv in normal situations

Yeah one of the Borat writers is working on this show, so you can expect the same style of humour (although probably watered down and tamed a bit)...I hope it makes it to TV but it doesn't look like it's catching on around the internet....
