That movie has some great dialogue..and some great acting.....and superior directing. At last, Scorcese has a hit on his hands. Hopefully he'll get an Academy Award.

not only it has great reviews by ppl but is also critically acclaimed...easily oscar worthy...the acting by everyone was great too

So because I have an opinion, I am a dumbass? Even what I said was also my opinion, no need to lose your ego over it. Not being a snob, it just didn't appeal to me. Open up those liberal thoughts a bit and this doesn't only go for you. When I hear 30,000 people praise X-Men 3 over something like King Kong in the past year, I can only think about whats wrong with people these days.

I would reccommend "The Inside Man" as one of the better movies of the year.

As almost all Scorsese movies, this movie was superbly directed. Add in the great dialogue that all Scorsese movies consist of with some Academy Award winning actors and you have an amazing movie. The Departed is not over-rated, I think it should have done better. It's deffo in the running for Best Picture along side DreamGirls. I hope it wins. Peas.

My mates who have good taste in films, rate this film quite highly so i've got no doubt its good. I haven't had a chance to see it myself yet though.
