I have set up a fully fashione knitwear business in Bangladesh-lots of opportunities, cost effective labour, good quality garments which are sold to companies such as GAP, FCUK et al.

Not too sure about Africa? go to the country and assess the risk factors!

I would never set up a business in Africa unless I was sure the entire African economy would sky rocket. It would be relatively cheap, yes, but the profits would be garbage. But if you set up, for example, a telecommunications company there, and the African economy goes up and people can afford cell phones and the African currency rose then that'd be crazy.

In the future, though, I would consider starting an exporting business there. And if I struck oil, well lets just say happy times for me.
