WAG1 PPL, im off to cambridge on monday 3 weeks for work, now i wasnt lukin farward to it, work trips get a bit borin and lonely, but.... i jus booked a posh hotel, i thort the company mite complain at the cost, suppose to spnd lyke £30-40 per/nite on a cheapo hotel, but, this one's £80 hehehe yess!!!!.. + company pays for food, so im CHILLIN, didnt wanna go, but mite as well have fun if im goin, innit :dance3:

Now whose from cambridge or been there, tell me what are the attraction, where can i have sum fun, a laff? and where they dont mind the black countraaay/brummie accent? :D

hope this doesnt become another dead thread, they are soo embarrasin, so anythin else u wanna say, jus post it ppl..... cheers.. . :wavey:

The uni is quite nice, a few of my friends go there, but the area outside is not too friendly, there was apparently a racist attack a few months back.

Just go out with your friends, in a group, and I'm sure you'll be fine.

And as for how many desis, there's not that many.

For desis visit the uni on east road or usually fez club on a tuesday night!

Im a designer. for a civil engineering company, and i was suppose to stay at the ROYAL CAMBRIDGE HOTEL, jus found out my manager, booked me into the TRAVEL LODGE instead... :rant: :wtf:

travellodge on cambridge business park! Good location as u have a multiplex cinema, bowling, good array of food shops there! As 4 clubbin scene in cambridge not all that unless u know the locals and there is quite a large desi population in the uni here though! U would have more chance with the goriyas here though - When u visitin cambs?

clubbin, i'll probably leave till a week or two l8r, get my crew dwn, and then i can chill n session all ova cambridge.....
