desis like getting cheap stuff.

fireworks are now on the cheap as nobody has any use for them.

this is why you still hear them going off.

:)

ps, i only find em going off in hayes, i went to my friends house the other night and heard em going off, you dont hear them where i live anymore.

you hear them going off because the chavs or neds as we call them in Scotland are letting them off.

she made ME go and complain to the next door neighbours, so i went looking really rough because it was about half 2 in the morning, she kinda forgot to tell me that the guy who lived next door was super gorgeous

we didnt sleep all night because we were too busy devising ways to get back at her ex but the fireworks did annoy me because i couldnt even think, they werent even the ones you can deal with, they were the proper really loud deafening ones.

yah they are still going on in my little town too. But, the fireworks are going off here because eid day was too pact with multiple functions one after the other. So it was postponed till last night...so everyone could be free and not be over with eid in like one day. Instead, we decided to stretch it out for to a week long celebrations haha. Im supposed to be having an eid party at my house in an hour.

We have a free Fireworks/Laser Display along with a Stage with Dance performances every year here in Leicester which the local council organize along with the Hindu Festival Council and tons of sponsor money by Alliance and Leicester to pay for the fireworks display! About 30,000 people turned up this year and the MP for Leicester was up on the stage saying how it's one of the biggest Diwali celebrations outside of India.

Was such a great night!
