Where this young man confuses himself, is that..... it specific circumstances there are exceptions based on various factors......... Age..... youth and the old.... due to medical or otherwise issues........ a 11 yr old can not be expected to fast for the whole day, in the western schools and that kinda environment.......... and old "ma" 70/80 yrs old, may not be able to maintain the fast, and then there are other circumstances............. but I guess it all boils down to the individual...........

Ramzan month is a month of sacrifice, but why is it we as muslims, tone down our behavious purely for this one month........... ?!? Should we not be conducting our lives day to day in the spirit of islam?!.......... and in a mindfull manner?!?.........

All im saying is that Fasting is a compulasry for all muslims, and depending on circumstances, some ppl may choose to excuse them selves for one reason or another...... Only the individual can judge in his hert if he or she should be or not, because otherwise when the day of judgement comes, they will be made to atone for their sins!
