I have met a few ABD Punjabi Sikhs who claim this in toronto. - one being a very good friend of mine. According to her, she is punjabi but her ancestors came from afghanistan. but as I said, they make up the exception rather than the rule.

I don't know - maybe I have a few idiots for friends or something. I'm not saying all Punjabi Sikhs will think this way. I am not confused by the 80% of Pakis who think they're part Arab.

Foreverconfused was only talking about the people she knows. It all depends on who you meet, because everybody's experience is different.


This one Sikh guy from India said this about Sikhs abroad. His opinion is by far more derogatory, so maybe he just talked to he wrong people? If he met any of Punjabi Link's friends, he probably would have made a different opinon.

Anyway, don’t take that poster seriously. He is simply talking shit. If he knew anything about the Sikh community, he will realize that alcoholism and drugs are much bigger problem in the Indian Sikh community than it is in the North American Sikh community. I also like to point out that Sikhs have an awful male to female ratio in India. So if anything, Sikhs here in North America have it good compare to Sikhs in India.

that's true. I also read it in Glamour. They are aborting female babies once they find out they are female.
