...what tactics would you use? and who would you have in your starting 11?
limitation on foreign talent only 5 non-english players.

example
4-3-3
Robinson
Baretti (firense (fiorentina))
Barry
Terry
Bridge
Makelele
Raul Garcia (osasuna)
Dagoberto (athletico paranese)
Lennon
Darren Bent
Tuncay (fenerbache)
with makelele holding up the play, and having raul garcia (who is like a prodigy playmaker) play off of dagoberto there would be a lot of creativity in the middle of the "park". Up front having two strikers and one right winger would be best with tuncay slightly behind darren bent and lennon in the favoured right wing position, this can revert to 4-4-2 should they need to do so for dagoberto can play on the left side and lennon on the right.
Quick passing would be highly appropriate and with fullbacks bombing on its going to be a fairly attacking style of play.

rafinha is brilliant. See i like your midfield but its not like really pungent in a sense that there are midgets in cesc/reo coker and milner is only good on the wing, if you'd replaced one of them with a more defensive minded player it would seem more solid. Cassano i've always liked him, i just hope real madrid dont spoil him by turning him into the new figo, playing him on the right. I like the idea. It's a very young side i must admit but looks good.

Carlos Kameni - CAMEROON
Dani Alves - BRAZIL
Anton Ferdinand
Ledley King
Leighton Baines
Wesley Sniejder - HOLLAND
Micheal Carrick
Sulley Ali Muntari - GHANA
Keiron Richardson
Freddy Adu - USA
Wayne Rooney
Tactics 4-4-2
Full backs pushing up all the way with centre midfielders dropping to fill the gaps. Wingers are high up, switching wings and coming inside. (they dont cross much though) Freddy Adu playing just behind Rooney and hopefully the quick passing and alternating of positions will confuse the defence, leaving gaps for easy goals.
Im too attacking, but meh, they fans wanna see goals and thts wht im giving them :dance2:

move your arse to brazil, where all the surrounding south amreekan players emigrate to in order to "advance" their "pay packet" and are abused constantly, i remmeber this guy dagoberto (brazilian) was booed by his own athletico paranese fans. Man dagoberto would be brilliant for ac milan. What were we talking about?

i reckon 4 4 2 remains one of the most widely used tactics these days in football
despite loads of premiership teams playin 4 5 1 (trying to disguise it with 4 3 3)
however a genuine 4 3 3 is an tactical line up if you've got the right players
i would play with 4 3 3 my self with this team;
ruud
robinho/c.ronaldo van persie/messi
riquleme fabregs
gattuso
heinze gallas lucio lauren
lehman
witth all the defenders being no nonsense and physical type along with syko lehman it wil mean a strong defence with power coming from the full backs.
gattuso being the holding midfielder in such formation would be ideal, with his lovely temperant a team with such skillful but yet 'lightweight' midfield and forward he would complement well. riqulme and cesc can provide excellent service from midfield to the three attackers up from with their crisp smooth passing. whereas ruud being being the best goal poacher would do an excellent job.
if i was to play in premiership then i would play 4 4 2
henry saha
joe cole/rosicky baptista pirlo/viera kaka/stevie g
a cole puyol toure any brazilian rb
lehman (jsut for the hell of it)
this i reckon would be one of the most ideal team for premiership. playin with no out and out wide player would mean alot of movement and good passing rather then just long balls or useless crosses coming in. midfield would be very combatative n the full backs giving good overlap run with their pace. two very good and commited centre backs would provide enough to keep clean sheets.
intrestingly i dont think the typical brazilian formation of 4 2 2 2 would work very well in premiership? what are your thoughts people?

Which Ferdinand did u pick ? Rio or Anton :sarb:
I long for the day tht John Terry has an injury and Anton gets the England call he is almost due, and gets to partner his big bro at the heart of Englands defence.
*OOOOOO Just had a thort*
Think of brother combinations who could/did play for England.....
Jack/Bobby Charlton
Gary/Phil Neville
Rio/ Anton Ferdinand
John/Paul (he is shit & plays for Yeovil) Terry
Ashley/Joe/Carlton/Andy Cole (The all have the same dad who slept around) :kekeke:
OK think of others........

He is getting better though. All those guys are currently better than him
EXCEPT CAMPBELL.... He has lost it now, he isnt the player he used to be and is way too injury prone.
I expect Anton to get a call up by the end of the season!!!

4-3-1-2
GK: C. Gordon (Scotland, Hearts)
LB: A. Cole
CB: J. Terry
CB: J. Hurme (Finland, Udinese)
RB: J. Carragher
LM: S. Downing
AM: Anderson (Brazil, Porto)
MFR: S. Gerrard
RM: A. McGeady (Irish Rep., Celtic)
FC: C. Tevez (Argentina, West Ham)
FC: W. Rooney
Cole and Terry providing attacking options from the back. Cole doing his usual running up the left flank to support the attack, Terry coming in for set-pieces. Hurme staying back during attacks, Carragher running in to support him in the centre.
Downing on the left, can pass players, provide accurate balls into 18-yard area. Give Gerrard a free role in midfield allowing him to cater to defensive duties as well as support an attack. McGeady on the right, very quick, skillful player who can stick on the right but also likes running in.
Set-Pieces; Downing for corners, all four midfielders for free-kicks. Rooney to take penalties.
Tevez and Rooney up front, loaded with power, pace, aggression and skill. Neither to stay up all the time, allow them to be involved in build ups.
