Roy Keane is poised to take the massive step that has proved too much for so many great players before him - the move from the pitch to the dug-out.
The most committed winner in Premiership history is on the brink of being appointed boss at Sunderland, a Championship team and a club that has forgotten how to win.

He has just finished his playing career. Shouldn't he get some experience as a assistant coach first. Saying that quite a few ex-united players are managers and doing ok. Ferguson must teach them well.

from man u to sunderland in the space of three years
on another topic..i wonder if penalty practice is top of the list when middlesborough play.
gareth southgate must have redeemed himself with the middlesborough/england fans who he let down all those years ago.
