3C's D's & E's. I feel really bad for him and his options are limited when it comes to college etc.

He is gonna have to do an intermediate course and then 2 yrs of his BTec.

I dunno wht to say to him, cuz he really did try hard. I think they made them Harder than my Day, cuz i (without really trying) got B's & C's.

Also, the school were unorganised, as usual, and then we had to wait half an hour bcause the year 10s got their results first, and then when I got my results, my heart was thumping, and I started to kinda cry.
I didn't want to open it, but then I plucked up the courage to open the flap bit, and the first result I saw was my maths one, and I started screaming- happy screams! :D

one of my cousins messed his gcse results up and now he has a pretty well paid job, he messed his gnvq up too..he was a few marks off a distinction, he went to college, did a hnd and got to uni that way so dont write your brother off alltogether, if he is dedicated enough he will get what he wants.

That’s the thing with me I can derive pleasure out of the knowledge that BBC wanted mehh but I turned them down. Just like that Maths genius, Dr Grigory Perelman, who declined one of the top awards available in his field of speciality. My mum actually recorded my Sky News appearance and she kinda pulls it out on occasions to show her friends, it gets embarrassing. :mad:

The reason behind studying medicine is the combination of various factors, for example my fathers a doctor so I’ve had exposure to the medical field from an early age. Initially I wanted to do something related to astronomy but erm I kinda become more inclined towards a medical career in the last year or so of school. I wanted to study medicine at Cambridge University but I kinda cocked up by missing the interview. Although I’m still considering doing something related to astronomy at Cambridge University after my medical degree. As for the duration of a medical degree, that’s a tough question its all dependent upon what the individual wants to do.

Yeah we had a nice long chat about his options. He gona do an Intermediate course for 1 yr and then 2 yrs Business Studies BTEC. This way i think it will work out, cuz he has 3 cuzins in the year below who will join him at college after one yr. Together they will finish college at the same time, and Hopefully they will all get into Uni and go together, which i think wud be better for all 4 of them :D So not all bad news
