First of all Pakis did not Temper the ball.. there is NO evidence either... pakis have been accused in the past too and specially Dannel Hair does not favor pakis.... Plus its a matter of being insulted so Pakistanis did a very good decision... :o

In the 90's when Wasim, Imran and Waqar were acheiving great movement with the ball they were accused of cheating and ball-tampering

Last year in the Ashes series Simon Jones managed to obtain some movement too but, this was called 'reverse swing'

The ICC is blatantly racist towards Asian Sub-Continent teams and umpire Hair should not officiate over anymore games involving countries from this region

Mind you it was a conflict of interest having Hair there in the first place. Doesn't he reside in England?

Good decision by Pakistan to protest. Hair, did follow the letter of the law. If he found evidence that the ball was tampered then that's his decision as an umpire. The alleged tampering happened in the 15mins after the Gul yorker wicket (after which he checked the ball) and the random check. The 26 Sky cameras focused on the ball have found no evidence.

By forfeiting the game they have put the ball in the ICCs court to find how/when/whom tampered the ball. If they cant then Pakistan were justified. Had Pakistan continued to play they would admitted responsibility to a crime they didn't do, which would have been idiotic.

he gav Inzi's runout in faisalabad test last winter ....wher according to rules when a player is taking an evasive actions he cant b givin out and it happens in january when AB diviliers (S.A) was out of his crease but wus takin evasive actions to avoid the ball. Umpire Aleem Dar gav him NOT OUT in Australia...

This is outrageous! Clearly Hair has issues with Asian teams and specially with Pakistan. Though, I agree with Ian Botham in blaming ICC for not appointing other umpires, given there is so much history with Hair & Pakistan. People have conflicts all over but it's the managements responsibility to plan & avoid them from happening. Having Hair in this series was like waiting for a volcano to erupt. I'd rather booo ICC. Hair is just a human with lack of common sense. And not to mention, pre-conceived approach of the English boo' in spectators."
