I have noticed this in the UK, its like a major problem in the London area. Up north where I am from its pretty cool. Maybe thats because most of the Muslims up north are Punjabi Jatts?

So I think its more of a ethnicity thing then a religious one right?

I know Punjabi Muslims who can't get along with Pathaan Muslims, and vice versa.

So anyway if a religious issue or more oven an ethnicity issue?

since our religion was founded? what event are you talking about? its true that reliously and socialy there was alot of persecution and problems for non-muslims.

yet as far as i am aware Moguls didnt directly attack Gurus until Jehangir imprisioned Guru Arjun and had him executed. Infact didnt Noor Jahan (mughal empress) visit Guru Arjun Dev at an earlier time because she was the intellectual type and wanted to question him about reality and stuff. Also wasnt Amritsar built on land that was subjugated to sikh community through Akbar?

By the way when you say 'moghuls' you are refering to group that was not hemogenous- basically all those in power (non-muslim ministers included). They say that one of Guru Har Rai's relative colluded against him in the moghul courts (where this estranged relative was hanging out and had some influence) and thats why Aurangzeb summoned Guru HarKrishen to Dehli.

Aurangzeb murdered some of his own family members in order to get the throne, so to try and escape the guilt he turned all 'pious'. all the religious schemers at the court then puppeted him with their designs. He was the head boss but it was his subs in punjab that put the tyranny into effect there. My argument was on the behalf of all Muslims ,not just Muslim Punjabis so that is a completely different argument. Try and realize Punjabi Muslims make up a tiny fraction of the Muslim population. I'm not gonna try and sit here and tell you that you it is unreasonable for a Sikh to have beef with Punjabi Muslims, but the matter of fact is that Punjabi Muslims of whom most aren't religious in the first place don't care about what happened a few hundred years ago and Punjabi Sikhs who don't even practice the faith at a minimal level shouldn't hold a grudge for 400 years if they aren't even standing or making an effort to sustain what their ancestors fought for.
