Its been so long...but football is back wahoo! (i thought i died after the world cup)

Made this thread so that we can chat about all the matches,drama,signings for this years Football.

so today liverpool v sheffield united, i want them to win, they got bellamy now and fowler so there attack is a bit stronger. Can just see another season of chelsea dominating though.what does every1 think...whos gonna win? what signings should the top teams make?whos gonna be top goal scorer?

I mean Alonso, Garcia & Kuyt not even on the Bench. Pennant, Crouch, Gonzalez on the bench. Kromfuckinkramp & Zenden in the starting line up on the opening day of the season, like WTF?.

You are drawing 1-1, less then 10 miniutes to go, what do you do now?, bring on a extra striker for a midfielder or defender right?, or if times are hard, striker for striker for the benefit of fresh legs. But my man brings on a midfielder(Pennant), and takes of a striker (Fowler, the goal-scorer) when he has Crouch - a massive advantage chilling out on the bench.

You can't blame Gonzalez, he just recovered from a massive injury, it will take time for him to adapt to the Premiership style. I have faith in him. He was down as the fastest premiership player btw, amazing. :neutral:

Ensuring you have big game players FULLY fit for a game, which will potentially earn us an extra 10 million (Kuyts transfer fee), in a couple of days time at the expense of a slightly depleted premiership outfit sounds like sensible management to me. Don't forget, we beat Chelsea with an arguably weaker team than the one put out yesterday. Give Sheffield UTD credit, they looked up for it. Yesterday was just one game of a very long season.
