Anyone here invest in stocks, mutuals funds, indexes, or ETFs? If you do, what brokerage do you use?

invested in a few mutual funds.. gic's .. all thru AIM Trimark... pretty gud stuff..dont have enuff $$ for stocks .. atleast enuff to make a good amount of dividend for the risk i'm putting in..

It's too early to tell (I just moved all investments from normal mutual funds to index funds). Besides we're in the middle of a bear market. From March 2006 till now I have a -4.9%. However, most of it was when I was vested in various mutual funds. Now I am only vested in 2 indexes. It was worse a month back.

edit: it's been a week or so when I last checked. It's at a -2.7 now. But as you know a week is a very short term. I moved to index funds because they reliably match the market and are low expense funds.

no. I am thinking about buying as well but only as a means of securing a house (to stop losing money on rent) instead of investing for profit.
