You're fine as long as your pharynx isn't really red and the lumps aren't white in color. You're experiencing a simple viral sore throat...use antiseptic oral sprays that are sold over the counter (or gargle salt water)

If you have problems breathing then its a surgical emergency and you may have to go to the hospital.

The thing is that you need a Rapid Strep Test to rule out a streptococcal tonsillopharyngitis. Then again whether antiboitics is nesessary is another question. I'd give it a couple of days.........
