I disagree. I don't think there's a 'true love' as in there are soul mates out in this world and when you find each other fire works go off; but there are times in people's lives where they find a person that they connect with on so many different levels that only 'true love' can describe your relationship.
You can connect with someone on so many different levels, doesn't mean you'll end up together w/ this true love bullshit. It could just be your best friend, and I doubt many people would call that true love.

1. Fall in love
2. Get married
3. Have a boy and a girl
4. Adopt a kitten

It simply describes what you feel towards each other. You don't have to be with each other forever to feel that way.
Typical true love statements involve the opposite sex in a bf/gf type scenario: "OMG, I love him, I want to be with him forever, etc".
