What is the point anymore? http://www.tribalfootball.com/article.php?id=2543

They might as well finish the premiership and champions league campaigns now and hand Chelsea both the trophies.

------------------------------ Petr Cech -------------------------

Ferreira -------- Terry(C) -------- Cannavaro/Gallas ------- Gallas

Robben/Duff--- Ballack/Maniche ---- Lampard/Makele---J Cole/Duff

Money does make the world go around, but this is just ridiculous. It's gettng really boring now, every world super star player on the market goes in their direction.

They could send out a second string 11 and they'd still most likely finish in the top 3.

Fiffa need to put a cap on the amount of money a club can spend per season or something, otherwise sooner or later a lot of football fans are going to just switch off.

ego shouldn't be a problem while mourinho's there - they do what they're told or they're out, simple as.

Having the best manager in the world doesn't help other teams either. LOL

Their manager brings them allj back down to earth and plus Madrid were only strong in up front and going forward back then.

Madrid used to always win games 3-2 4-3 ... and if they wern't having all that a good day in front of goal, ended up losing games 0-3 0-4 and people would be gob smacked as to what went wrong.

Some players will leave chelsea as wont get games. Gallas wanted to leave but dont think will want to go to Milan now they are out of the Champions league. looks unlikely anyone will beat them in the premiership unless go out and buy a whole load of top players. As for the champions league I think thats still up for grabs and the team to beat are still Barcelona and if real can get it together may do well this season

ManU was taken oever but the spending is nowhere close to Chelsea. So even if the clubs are taken over they need someone who is gonna spend a lot, else will be to difficult. I thought Liverpool might be able to do something but it looks difficult unless big names sign. The only team that can catch chelsea will be a team that can now produce top players them selves that will be top world players. Arsene wenger has developed a few and think this might be the team to do it in a while. Provided the players stay

^ dunno about that .. when the now finished galactico-era at madrid took shape 4 seasons ago they were looking to continue their recent successes in la liga and the champions' league .. meanwhile benitez had other plans with valencia and halted madrid from 2 league titles with a pretty moderate side.. all about teamwork ..

then again with someone like maurinho at chelsea its been made pretty clear that their not about stars, all to do with substance.

I want it to be how it used to be, edge of my seat stuff, knowing that come April possibly one of three or four teams can clinche the title. Not seeing a team, whether it be Chelsea Manchester United or even Arsenal 12 points ahead. I am a football fan! It’s all to predictable at the present moment in time.

I'm an Arsenal fan, and i can modestly say we are not ready. May be the season after this, we'll be a force, but truth be said, we were lucky to get to that Champions League Final in May.

Saying that Rosicky and Fabregas look a pretty decent midfield pairing prospect partnership in the making. :p

Saying that Rosicky and Fabregas looka midfield pairing prospect. :p am chelsea fan, but i admire the arsenal game the most. they were brilliant in some home games last year, though chelsea have got strength and what favours them is quality of each player.
Arsenal may do well this season but still the team is young and may not perform that well on the road

Alot of people do :p It was said 2 seasons ago when Arsenal stormed to the title they were on the boarders of playing, Brazilian type football.

I agree, what stands chelsea in good sted, is there stability and experience through out the team, they have winners whereas Arsenal currently only have potential winners.
